Egypt for Poultry is a public shareholding company that operates in the food processing industry. The Company is engaged in the operation of poultry farms and slaughterhouses. Its activities include poultry and day-old chicks breeding, manufacture, packaging, trade, distribution, import and export of poultry products, eggs and chicken feed, investment, construction, management and rent of poultry processing plants, automated slaughterhouses and refrigerated warehouses, and licensing local and international companies to distribute its product across Egypt and abroad. It is also engaged in land reclamation and agricultural activities, as well as cattle and fish product manufacturing.
Financial Performance:
In 1H2011 Egypt for Poultry announced that it has approved the repurchase of 2,365,000 treasury shares for a period of one month starting from the first day of the trading resumption on the Egyptian Stock Exchange
